Lose Fat Around Stomach
If you want to lose the fat around your
stomach, you are in for a treat: it isn't as hard as everyone
says it is! The reason most people fail when they try to lose
fat around stomach areas is that they only work on their
stomach areas. They don't do anything else to increase their
health in other areas. Here are some hints to help you lose fat
around your stomach.
1. Aim at a truly healthy lifestyle instead
of simply asking for six pack abs. By eating a healthy diet and
doing a full body workout on a regular basis you will be
increasing the health of your entire body.
2. Have some patience. Short of hiring a
surgeon to perform liposuction on you, there is no fast way to
lose fat around your stomach. It will take a few weeks before
you start to see a noticeable difference in your abdominal
region but if you work steadily at it, you will see results!
What's more, the more you work at losing fat around your
stomach the better able you will be to keep the fat from
returning!
3. There is more to losing belly
fat than sit ups. In fact, sit ups can be counter
productive if you want to lose that muffin top. Opt for
exercises like crunches, lunges and squats to work on the
muscles in your abdominal region.
4. Make sure that each workout contains
some aerobic or cardiovascular exercise. Aerobic and
cardiovascular exercise helps to get your heart rate up and
blood flowing through your body. You'll burn more calories with
cardio than you will with simple abdominal workouts and because
you'll burn more calories, your body will be more likely to
burn your fat reserves as well.
5. You should also make sure that you
include some strength training into each workout as the
strength training will help you tone your muscles, which will
add definition as you lose fat around stomach and enhance the
appearance of your "abs."
6. Stay away from foods that are high in
sugar, saturated fats and artificial ingredients. High fructose
corn syrup should also be avoided. Aim at natural foods - fresh
fruits and vegetables, whole grains - foods that your body can
easily process and that it can use and won't have to store as
fat.
7. Drink plenty of water. Water is
essential to the overall health of your body. Drinking water
will keep you hydrated during your workout and it will increase
your organs' functions and your body's ability to rid itself of
waste. Helpful hint: by replacing your usual drinks (teas,
juices, sodas, coffees) with water you can cut hundreds of
calories from your diet without much effort!
These hints might feel too simple to have much effect, but
the truth is this: to lose fat around stomach areas, you need
to live a truly healthy lifestyle or you will just relocate the
fat to another area and you won't be able to keep that muffin
top from coming back!
